Molly,
I'm not sure you will find any detailed instructions on removing and reinstalling the mast on a C36. That is not a project designed for the do-it-yourselfer. The mast weighs about 600#, and you need a crane to do the job. The crane operator should know where to attach the lifting strap on the mast. It should be at a point just slightly above the middle of the mast, so that it can be balanced when it is out. Not sure if you have a std rig or tall rig. The extrusion for the std rig is 50' and the extrusion for the tall rig is 52'. Measure from the cabin floor to the cabin ceiling (maybe 6.5'?), and then measure up another 19' or 20', depending on rig. That is where the lifting strap should be. You will have to tie the lifting strap down, so that it does not slip all the way up to the spreaders. Don't forget to loosen the tie-down turnbuckle inside, and all the wiring at the base of the mast. Hope this helps.
