Refrigerator Cover seal

I tried searching with no luck. I need to replace the rubber seal that sits in the recess of the refrigerator top and seals against the hinged top cover.

I have tried getting stuff at home supply places and nothing is the right size.

Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

Duane - all we did was to put the foam insulation strips on the edge of the cover to seal up against what you are talking about. Also put a strip between the two halves. That with the foam pads on the top gives us a pretty good seal. I know you use the same pads inside the regrigerator.

Duane, I got closed cell foam weatherstripping at Home Depot, comes in several widths and thicknesses. It is made to keep cold out and it seems to work equally well at keeping cold in. But maybe they don't carry it in Florida, given the absence of freezing weather down there?

Duane, We have an appliance supply locally that has numerous styles and sizes of seals, you can Google " Cashwell Appliance Parts" in N.C. I think you can see their product line online, They supply a lot of oem parts for appliances,

Monday they are calling for a "hard freeze" in much of Florida! Clearly it's time to move to Hawaii!

Thanks to all for the good responses. I suppose I will have to re-measure the gap and try local stores again first and then check out Cashwell.

Lowest it got here was 47F as of 0600 EST. Cold for us, but nothing like much of the lands north of us.
