I have just started to understand how i might refinish the dull and scratched counter tops. I thought these were solid surface corian (beige in color) - sure looks like it but i heard it is likely not. I have called the tech support folks at Catalina direct and they passed me off to Catalina directly to see what they might suggest. Has anyone been able to refinish the counter tops? Any advice on products to use or how to approach. Thanks.

I removed our old galley tops and installed corian. To keep it looking new I use a 3m cleaner wax and then just a regular wax with a buffer. I do the same with our house countertops.

Thanks for the reply, i was more interested in refinishing the "as-is" existing countertops but not sure what they are made of and how best to do this.

It should be Corian. Which can be sanded and buffed.
