Raymarine distorted image If any of the members reading this blog are suffering from a distorted image on their Raymarine C-70, C-80 or C-120 chart plotter, there is an alternative to replacing the unit. This summer my Model C-80 developed a distortion that made reading any information from the screen impossible. Steve told me he has seen this on a lot of the C-70, 80, 120 models and he had a fix that he would perform and warranty for 1 year. I sent him my C-80 and in a few days, Steve sent me a picture of my chart plotter working normally. He let it run on his bench overnight to confirm that the unit has been repaired and then shipped it back to me today. The cost was $350.00.
