Check out the info found here, I just replaced my MKI and the size was exactly as described here but measure your's to be sure. You should also add a signature to your profile with your Hull info.
Finally someone asked a question that I can competently answer!
52 inches tip to tail. It's right here beside my desk and I had a tape measure handy. I keep it here to remind me of the 'joys' of charter boat ownership.

I remember being in Desolation Sound and seeing a friend's boat come in. My wife says, "theres the Smiths"
Nope; just 9 'twenty-somethings' that rented their boat for the week.
Part-ied all night long...
Catalina Direct is asking for the "set" length...can anyone confirm that? It seems to be the lenght minus the threaded end. I'm a liveaboard and I dont want the boat on the hard for two weeks while I measure, order, ect
Going slightly off topic (apologies offered from the outset :)) I take, from reading these posts, that the shaft cannot be reversed. I was hoping I could switch ends and get some further life out of my shaft.
Can someone tell me if I can or cannot? Many thanks.

I'll verify this as well. I just replaced mine last month, and it was 52".

Bill, I can measure it for you, but please make sure what a "set length" is. Let me know, as I have the shaft here beside my desk.

I get 50 5/8 inches by their definition.

Robert,
Correct, you cannot reverse a prop shaft to get more use out of it. One end is "blunt", and the other is tapered and threaded.
