Hello, has anyone got experiences with making modifications to the (square) muffler from a Catalina36 from 1991/1992? I want to change the inlet, because I installed a new riser from westerbeke. I guess it is quite simple move the inlet from the top of the muffler to the side with some epoxy. In that way the exhaust hose coming from the riser makes a much smoother bent towards the muffler. Also the exhaust hose doesn't have to go upwards coming from the riser as is the case right now, some 3 to 4 inches I guess.
