Mast Wiring 94 Catalina 36MK1.5

Re-stepped my mast after a long period and have lost the diagram I made which told me which wires connected together.  From the panel to the mast there is a cable with 4 wires, a Brown, White, Yellow and Green.   Coming out of the mast is 2 cables,  the 2 wire cable has Black and White    the 3 wire cable has Black, White and Green     Hopefully someone can tell me which wires connect together.
Thanks,

Use a 12v battery with a 2 amp fuse and connect wires and see which light lights up. There are not many combination that you can test. Make your own diagram
And the wires coming from the panel is easy to test as you can turn on the switches and measure voltages and lable each wire. Then connect to mast wires and test.

Hi Bluesman, On my 94 Mk 1.5, the back and white pair runs all the way to the masthead for the anchor light. See attached photo.

My triplex run is also Black, White and Green. This is for the steaming light and deck light on the front of the mast. See the second pic.

I believe white was for the deck light, green was for steaming light and black was common ground, but check while you're up there by having someone turn the switches on and off one at a time.

Replacing the steaming/decklight combo with this completely sealed, higher quality fixture than the stock Aqua Signal was fairly straight forward, if that's what you're trying to do. Screw holes lined up perfectly: https://store.marinebeam.com/led-masthead-foredeck-combination-light/ See third pic.

Downside is you can't change the LED bulbs, but they are rated for 50,000 hours. Good luck.
