Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and am curious how active it is around the topic of rebuilding an M35 in a 1993 Catalina. 

I have a Catalina 30 with an M25 engine.  I'm looking to buy a Catalina 36 but the one I'm looking at buying has an M35 that needs rebuilding or replacing.

I have a few quick questions regarding a rebuild vs replacing it.
1l ​​​​Can the engine be rebuilt without removing it?

3) Will an M25 engine fit and if so what modifications are needed?
