Howdy,
I have a 1987 C36 with a broken transmission oil dipstick. Does anyone know the length of the original (preferably to the base of the nut) so I can confirm the proper oil level?
I did search the archives, but if I missed the answer I apologize in advance.
Thanks,
Mike H
Try looking under Hurth instead of M25. The trans takes 300 cc of ATF. I put it in a clear squeeze condiment bottle - much easier to pour. Also if you don’t find the length let me know and I’ll pull mine. Depth is taken with dipstick unscrewed.

Thank you Les,
The problem I have is checking the fluid level, say one week, after the correct amount is put in.

I’ve got 3-4 days before I get back to Everett where I can unload from the PNW Catalina Rendezvous. Right now that area is packed full of movie screens, pvc........
probably Friday or Saturday
