Keeping water out of the galley dry locker

Hi,

I find that water can seep into the galley dy locker thru the hatch whenever the counter surface above is wet.

Wondering if others have encountered this problem and come up with any solutions .... other than not being sloppy and get the counter wet!

Hi jeremy,
I solved the problem by cutting a piece of teak to fit across just to the right of the locker.
I shaped it and rounded the top so that it looked the part, varnished it and carefully glued it to the counter top.

It is only about 10 -12 mm, but it does a great job of keeping the washing up water out of the dry locker.
