Jabsco pump

I just checked my Jabsco raw water impeller..all is well, its working fine and the paper gasket makes it watertight however there appears to be some salt water escaping from the drive unit that spins the impeller. Its not a lot but its getting rust stained below the unit.Is there a sealed bearing in there that can be serviced?or will i need a new drive unit(whats it called)

I'm confused by your title "Jabsco pump", versus your question. The 'Jabsco' leads me to think you're talking about the boat's fresh water, ie drinking water system.

But if you're describing a leak at the raw water pump, then you might want to check out my article in the Technical - Maintenance library on Raw Water Pump Replacement. It's the nature of the raw water pump to 'weep' water when a seal is about to fail. The article explains this.
