My idle is so slow that when I put it in gear, it dies most of the time.

This is bad news when docing as soon as I put it in reverse it dies!

I believe my tach is not calibrated but it reads around 500 at idle.

Do you use the throttle cable or is there an idle screw or what?

This is on a stock M25 with about 900 hrs on it.

I have joined the c36 and still waiting for the techno CD, it may have the answer but I want to raise my idle now.
