Hello,
Has anyone any experience removing and replacing the front trapazoidal hatch lens?
How do you release the black adhesive that holds the old lens on?
I've got a new lens and gasket from Catalina Direct, but need some advice on how to remove the old lens from the frame.
Thanks!

I am looking forward to reading the responses and hearing about how this project turns out. If it is successful, I would like to replace the same hatch lens.
How much did it cost at Catalina Direct?
If I had to suggest a method to remove the lens, I would drill a very small hole near the edge of the lens, then insert a thin wire (guitar string or picture hanging wire) and use that in a "saw like" motion to separate the black sealant from the frame. Then clean out the old sealant as good as possible before bedding the new lens. Lets see what others recommend.
