Can't locate online a replacement for the Flyback 15-3 Auto-Battery Charger or a suitable substitute or any suggestions for troubleshooting the system.

If I recall, that model Flyback is a fairly old school charger, without a lot of more modern smart technology. Mainesail (former C36 owner) has a good article on things to look for in a modern charger and how to install. https://marinehowto.com/installing-a-marine-battery-charger/ . He recommends the Sterling Pro Charge Ultra, and has a link to a good distributer (https://baymarinesupply.com/sterling-procharge-ultra-battery-charger.html?ref=cms). We installed one of those on our former C36 and were quite pleased with its performance. (We installed a Victron Multiplus inverter/charger on our current boat; its a pretty hefty unit, however).
