I know there are thousands of posts on propellers, but for all my searching, I haven't found clarification on the best pitch for a flexofold 15 inch 3 blade. I have found where 15x11 is too much, but how about 15x10 versus 15x9? Flexofold recommends 15x9. Any experience out there?

I have a 3 blade 15x10 flexofold on my boat. It has been on for 10 years or so. I also tried the 15x11 too much. It's been a while but think I got within about 200 rims at wot in gear vs neutral.

Hi all,
I have a prop question for those who have a Flexofold 3 blade prop. I am considering the same prop and am looking for input on pitch. Given our boat parameters, M35B, 1.79 reduction, Flexofold is recommending 10” pitch. I have read on this site that some are using 9” pitch, not certain the reduction gears are the same as ours. Our current prop is a factory install Michigan Sailor 3 blade 15/9rh. While it performs well moving forward and stopping the boat, the prop walk is robust and the drag while sailing in light air is like a large bucket.
Can anyone share what pitch and transmission reduction they are using and any pros or cons to the prop and performance? I have read that the Flexofold is able to produce more forward thrust than the fixed blade prop at given rpm’s, is this reality?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or comments.
