Engine Parts Help Please

Looks like no one wants to sell universal M-35B parts. There has to be someone that can sell me the foam air intake silencer for a fair price!

Jimmy,
Try Torresen:

I can't guarantee a fair price, It is a marine part after all. Just be glad you don't own a plane.

You can probably find a K&M filter that will fit as well. You will get more power, but a little more noise too.

We replaced the overpriced Universal foam filter with a K&N, part # RU2450
in 2005 on our 1995 C36. Ordered from K&N Engineering, POB 1329, Riverside
CA 92502, phone 951-826-4000 after unable to find a local vendor with the
correct size air intake. Cost was $38.51 for the filter and a NAPA store carried
the cleaner/oiler kit for about $12.00. We average 105 engine hours per year
and clean and oil it once per year. Easy and effective installation. Best
wishes, Hugh Martin

Paul,
Have you noticed a difference in engine noise with the K&N filter?

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][SIZE="2"]I have not noticed any difference in engine noise and/or HP vs RPM.
I installed the filter to get rid of the oil drip from the oil breather hose and that it did.
