Damper Plate replacement: Video of old plate ratleling

I started the damper plate replacement process today, and in my M35B on hull#2077 I found the R&D 22B4 plate, no springs, not sure if this is original, I own the boat only for 1 year...see video, what do you guys think?

Does anyone know the torque for the allen bolts used to attached the damper plate? Cant find that info.

The plate in your video is a newer style replacement that uses polymeric components instead of metal coil springs to dampen the radial shock loads. It is definitely not original. Some say it is better, but not all. It was the same unit I was going to install if I kept the boat (which is now for sale).

Good luck.
