So I am new to the Catalina family and also new to Marine air conditioning. But it's turning warm here in Charleston so I dug into my 1995 air conditioning unit today to see if I could get it running. Everything seems to run pretty good except the fan and housing that drives the cabin evaporator. The housing is all rusted out and the fan motor is obviously toast. Can anyone point me in a direction for the housing and fan? I was trying to post a picture but was unsuccessful. I am supposing that those with more experience here know exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance.

We had a failed 2005 Dometic 16k BTU P/N VCD16K/2-HV and replaced it with a new Dometic unit. When I pulled the original unit, I discovered a lot of other things were about to fail due to corrosion. Our boat was from FLA. The new units are made with a lot of Stainless and plastic and are more durable I believe.
