Would appreciate any insights by somebody who has installed a composting head in a C-36 MK II. I've ordered an AirHead unit, but want to get some tips from someone who has installed one. Am particularly interested in where the vent should go.

Replying to my own post! The new AirHead will be installed next week. I'll report here how the installation goes.
I am a yacht broker and so am on/off many boats. I recently sold a small cruising catamaran with an AirHead. The seller and his wife had taken the boat to the Bahamas twice -- loved the composting toilet. I was surprised, when I boarded the boat, that there were no odors whatever. This on a boat that had been closed up in 90 degree heat for a couple of weeks. Recently, I saw that the last Hinckley B 40 built had been retrofitted with a composting head. If it's good enough for a $300K yacht, it's certainly good enough for me.

I considered this when we were setting up for extended cruising, but gave up when I found the height of the composting toilet would make it sit too high in the head.
I'd be interested to hear how you go!

Seems like a lot of work to essentially get to the same level of using a bucket and chuck it.
