Bow Water Tank

I tried searching, but came up empty. Does anyone know where I can get the proper bow water tank for my 36 ? Catalina Direct has them for 30s & 34s, but not for the 36. I recall an old Mainsheet article on how to install it, but I need to know where to get it.

Thanks, Mike

Mike, this is another case where having your boat's hull number and year of manufacturer in your Forum signature might help us help you. It's easy to do. Just click on User CP (in the upper left corner of this page, on the ribbon), then click Edit Signature. Type in your new signature and click on Save Signature. It takes 30 seconds.

Heck, maybe all C36 bow water tanks are the same. (I don't know. I'd bet against it, though.) But someone out there can help you if the inquiry is a bit more targeted.

See my signature example just below.

Mike,
I was the one who wrote the article in Mainsheet about installing a bow water tank (in a MkI). I built a cradle to support the tank. Give a call to the CY parts department. If they don't have the tank in stock (our boat has been out of production for three years now), they should be able to tell you the supplier and part number. Hope this helps.

The bow water tank for a 1990 Catalina 36 is a Ronco B114, Here is the web site you can buy direct from. I am pretty sure all of the Catalina's use Ronco for waste and water tanks, If you need the other tank Model number I have them for the 1990 .

Thanks Randy! I went to their website and they only show about a ZILLION different tanks, so your info is pure gold. Also, my boat is a "1991 model built in 1990", so this should be perfect. Thanks again,

Mike

If you have the other tank #'s I would appreciate it.
