Has anybody had any experience with the range of artifical teaks and corks that are available on the market?

I have been approached by one of the suppliers to fit it to the cockpit floor, as a demo for the upcoming boat show. They have offered it at wholesale material cost and they will make it up and even come and install it to make sure it looks 100%.

It would break up the fibreglass in the cockpit.
