We have a 1984 Mk 1 C36 in Vancouver, BC.
Our sails are just about at the end of their life.
Is there much of a market in used sails?
Would we be better off just purchasing new sails?

Owner of a Mk 1 C36 Hull # 379 commissioned December 1984.
Fin keel, standard rigging.
Boat is based in Nanaimo, B.C., Canada, where you will find one of the finest cruising areas in the world.
There's a lot of sail lofts around that do a lot of trade in used sails, if you google "used sails" you'll get lots. We just replaced our genoa with a new one and the sailmaker didn't want anything to do with the old one which he said was not really in as bad shape as I thought it was so it seems to be a niche market I guess.
I just bought a serviceable sail from Minney's in Southern Calif.
