I've been looking into adding an asym. spinnaker to our boat. Anyone have experience with National Sail Supply? Their web site offers an asym. for a C36 TR for $1,350, which seems relatively cheap.

I bought a replacement 135% Genoa about 4 years ago from National and I think they did a very good job for a great price. It is made overseas, of course.
I am probably going to try a local sail maker when I replace my main next year just to help the local economy.

You might also look at North Direct. We had North build our new main and genoa, but used North Direct for the cruising chute (genaker) since dimensions are not real critical for a cruiser. They make these to stock sizes in 2 ft increments. Like most sails today designed he but made overseas.
