Zodiac Discharge Tube Orifice Question
I pulled my Zodiac inflatable out after 6-7 months storage. When I pulled transom plug out, both the sleeve & plug came out as one piece. I was able to separate sleeve from plug. Plug goes into sleeve, sleeve should be attached some how to transom hole. What glue should I use to glue plug sleeve into transom board??? Thinking of using gorilla glue on OUTSIDE of sleeve because it gorilla glue requires glueing surface to be wetted to fully activate the glue. After looking at the interior transom hole surface (the sleeve gets glued some how into this orifice) I can't tell what material type I am trying to glue the plug sleeve into. Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

The solution:   Transom board & respective hole the sleeve fits into (from back to front were in excellent shape and clean.   I used a two part epoxy, Power Poxy Marine epoxy, to glue the sleeve into transom, then rimmed both inner and outer transom sides of sleeve with aquarium silIcone (because I had some on my peg board).   When I looked at the rubber diaphragm ( see picture) could tell it had small cracks and needed a $6 part, available from Zodiac dealer.  Should be good for a few years.
Now, why do my uploaded fotos show upside down?
