We're not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but we're not sure where else to go with it.
We posted a request to "Tom's Toolbox" to borrow the cutlass bearing tool in November, but never heard anything back.
We know this is a voluntary effort on Tom's part in a voluntary association, so we do hope nobody takes this as a "disgruntled customer" type posting. But we're wondering if anyone knows how to get in touch with Tom, or the status of the "Toolbox"? We're trying to plan out the work before relaunch (can't wait!), and getting to the cutlass bearing is high on the priorities, and if the Tom's Toolbox bearing tool is no longer available, We'll need to explore other options. Any suggestions or information welcome.
Regards all!

Welcome to our association, Matthew. I am sorry that you were not able to get through to Tom.
I have just left a cell phone message for him and alerted him to your request.
Please post here your status.

Bumping this thread since I am looking to borrow the Torque tools too and have not heard from the tool guru. Maybe he's hiding out where it's warm somewhere.:D

The good news is we have a new keeper of the association's Toolbox, John vanVessem. When you send a request through from the Association Toolbox page, it goes to John now (thanks to Tom Soko).
The bad news is that we are still actively trying to locate all the items and get them to John for distribution.
With a volunteer organization distributed across the world, these things can happen (hopefully rarely), but we are doing all we can to resolve it.
