V-berth cushions FREE

When we bought Tehani a year ago we replaced the V-berth cushions with a nice new mattress. I'm willing to give the old (OEM, most probably) cushions to any C36 owner if you pay the shipping. They are in good shape with only 2 or three small rust stains on each. Nothing nasty! These are from our 1999 MkII, but I assume they would fit any C36.

(Was going to post this in Classified Ads, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to post a new ad!)

I would like to have them. Does anyone know if they will fit a mark I 1984 boat?
Thanks

Related question: where did you guys get the mattress and about how much did it cost? Are you happy with it? Did it come with the v-berth insert? This is something I've been considering...

We got the mattress from Handcraft Mattress Company. They have lots of options, but we chose the 6 1/2" latex with pillow-top. We got the three-piece which includes the insert. Also an optional zipper to attach the two halves. This was $1,800 plus shipping from the factory in Florida to Maryland. We also got a waterproof mattress cover and custom sheets for the admiral (extra $).

They were great. Their rep ame to the boat, measured and sent the insert board to the factory. It all came back with great quality and fits like a glove. Sleeps as good as home. We just took the mattress home today for winter storage!

I guess it would be better for me to get the MKI cushions and allow someone who has a mkII get the others.

Of course, Mike! Anyone else before they go to the street?

I have a set of Navy blue v berth cushions (1987 MK I) that I'm will to give to some one paying the shipping charges. We replaced our mattress in 2007 with a mattress from Bargain Bedding inc (Bargainbeddinginc.com) for just under 600.00. I'm not sure they are still in business, but they may have been acquired by Riverside Mattress company (http://www.riversidemattressinc.com/). There is more discussion about mattresses at this location: http://www.c36ia.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74.

The Mk II cushions that I offered to start this thread are still available. Never did hear whether they will fit earlier boats, but I assume they will.

Last call, or they're on their way to the street!
