Hello 36'ers
The main reason for this post is to make sure the next person that searches trigger shackles in these forums gets the answer.
After searching the net and talking to the good folks at Annapolis Performance Sailing about which Shackle to get I purchased 2 Tylaska T8 snap shackles. T8 is the size for our 36 foot boats. These things are pretty spendy and if you can find them anywhere for less than 140.00$ grab them up because thats a deal.
I have attached a photo to help the next guy looking to upgrade his spinnaker gear.
The reason for the upgrade is that I was tired of having the other style fly open at all the wrong times.
