Stern Rail spacing - top to bottom dimensions?

Hi all, I'm off to possibly purchase the Edson stern rail dinghy motor bracket.  Anyone happen to know the distance between the top and lower rail in the tubing to the left and right of the swim ladder?  In the picture I have attached, you can see the same Edson motor bracket on the port side, but not sure if it's an adjustable version or not.  Ideally I would like to show up knowing the exact dimensions.  Thanks again!  See the attached pic, between the red arrows is the distance of concern...

It is exactly 12 in on Center or to add the one inch for the rail 13 in from the top to the bottom rail.

Hey John, thanks for the info!  I ended up out there on the boat this morning and measured as well.  I also happened to be in CT today and walked in to Defender's warehouse store (mecca).  I noticed that the Edson stern rail motor mount comes with the lower cleat NOT drilled, so it's intended to be set by the boat owner for their application, makes sense.  Which I will be doing because the spacing is a little off on the used one I bought.  Thanks again!
