Maybe this was asked before and I ddn't notice it but when we posted in the past, our names, boat model, homeport, etc automaticlaly appeared at the end of the posting. Now I don't see it. Was there a change or do we have to update our info somewhere?

Chuck;
I've been after Eric Howell to get thi changed for the last six months and have complained about this several times before. Perhaps, if enough members complain to Eric, it will be changed (ebhowell@gmail.com) Given the fact that this is a paid for subscription service for membership, you would think that it would be better attended to.
Here is a copy of Eric's Last email to me regarding this important issue (reads bottom to top); (and I have to take issue with the fact that the regulars on this forum do pay subscription fees to keep it on the air)
Hi Bill,
Getting that fixed is top on my list. I'm hoping to put some good time into it this weekend. There's a big learning curve figuring out the complicated website backend used on the website, so unfortunately it is not a quick fix.
Use of the forum does not require a paid membership. I definitely agree that we want to keep the forum useful as it's much easier to search past posts for useful information compared to Facebook.
Regards,
Eric

Good Morning Eric;
I know you are working on this but I just wanted to stress the importance of
the signature block. This forum is all about helping each other with problems
encountered with our Catalina 36 boats. There were a number of different
models made over it's 25 year production life and factory variations on those
units. As we attempt to help each other, which is the real value of this
forum, we need to know what model and what variation each boat has.
Additionally, what waters we sail in makes a difference as to what answer is
given. Much of this information has been contained in our signature blocks
which have now disappeared.
Last year, we were very concerned that the C-36/375 Facebook would completely
dissolve this forum. The Facebook Forum now has 835 members, many of whom are
not present on this 'paid for' forum. My concern is that unless we make this
forum as convenient as possible, this valuable resource will disappear. With
the forgoing in view, we ask again for the signature to re-appear.
Thanks for your time and your contribution.
