Question regarding fuel tank and transmission on 1998 C36

we are considering a 1998 C36. We know the fuel rank is aluminum, is it located Aft or midship under the port settee? Also the transmission is original. What is the make and model of the transmission, it has the original 35hp Universal engine,

The fuel tank is located aft, under the port cockpit locker. It is behind the wood panel in the aft cabin. The original transmission is Hurth 100 or 50. Sorry, but I am not on the boat and I do not recall the model.
