I want to increase the fresh water storage capacity on our C36. We have the main storage tank and a tank under the aft starboard berth. I've seem layouts with a tank under the berth in the bow and also mention of an inflatable bladder. Where can I get more info?

I had the same arrangement and put in a bow tank the best buy came from buying the tank from Catalina they call it a 32 gal but it is 24 gal .You have to build a bulkhead to support it and I ran the filler port in to the back of the anchor locker and the vent is in the anchor locker .There are some pictures of some ones build on the 36 site

Mike,
It has also been written up in Mainsheet (and included in the Tech Notes CD).
PS-It would help everyone answer your questions if you would fill in your "signature" with your boat info. Click on the User CP link in the upper left side of the blue bar on this page. If you look at other posts you can get an idea of the type of info that is helpful.

Well before we get to the how to - I would also like to make this upgrade to my 89. I keep reading about some cheap tanks but all I can find is a $262 tank through Catalina Direct - and the shipping is "Non Standard". Any suggestions on a better source for the tank? Thanks
