Portable Freezer Location

Has anyone put one of those portable freezers, 35-55 litres, up by the V-Berth.  Asking because I do use a little step stool to get into the berth and was thinking about being able to use the top of the portable freezer for that.
Does it just throw off too much heat to put there?  I sweat.  I'm a sweater.  lol

Been wondering about that vs under chart table.
Cheers,

No but I sometimes, depending on the crew and duration of the trip put a Dometic 75 dual zone unit next to the large wall in the cabin.

Def a help and an option!  Thanks for sharing.  Any thoughts on what a portable about that size throws off?

Before I replaced my built in compressor with a novakool unit, and divided it into a fridge and freezer, I used a portable unit.  I put the little table in the salon down and secured it on that table.  It was a good location.  I could still use the two seats on side.  And it was close to the 12V plug in the electrical panel.
