Original cockpit table removal

I have a purchased a folding cockpit table to replace original.  I unscrewed it but the table won't budge.  Guessing it's glued on.   Question is , how do I get it off without damaging floor.  It's a 2004 36mk2

Thanks for any advice

Dave,

You are right to use caution.    If it’s bonded with a sealant like 3M 5200 it can and will damage the gelcoat.   I’ve had reasonably good luck with the marine spray adhesive remover from DeBond Corp.    Follow the instructions then slowly break the bond with a flexible putty knife.    The DeBond stuff works pretty well with the “usual suspects”  3M 4200, 5200, and the Silkaflex equivalents which in my limited experience and the normal bonding/calking agents.
Note that it's easy to damage the gelcoat.

Good luck
