I'm new to the 36 Mk 2 and I'm trying to optimize it's performance. I looked at the polar diagrams on this website...it gives optimum run angles but no beat angles...I've never used polars before...can anyone enlighten me?
Cheers

Vic, welcome to the C36IA, and thank you for your three-year Membership (capital M).
I see from your Membership data that you're a West Coast Canada sailor...as such, you are especially welcome after the GREAT Olympics you guys put on earlier this year. Heck, I'm even glad you won the hockey game. Both teams knew they were medalists going into the game; and what a game it was!
And by the way, please tell us the model (Mk I, Mk I.5, Mk II?) and hull number, and name of your boat, and whether it is a TR or SR (Tall Rig or Standard Rig), and FK or SK (Fin Keel or Shoal Keel).
