Hi Friends,
I just wanted to say thank you to our admministrators and moderators for their good work here at the website and forums. The forums are always helpful and politely toned. Our website remains reliable and easily navigated. The new look and arrangement is attractive and professional. Thank you to all involved.
Cheers,
Paul

Thank you Pelican!
We still have some adjustments to make(*), but the main update is completed. The major new functionality we wanted to implement was a "responsive" design, meaning that the site scales appropriately on small screens. Please check it our on your device(s) and let me know if there are any issues.
Thanks,

(*) E.g. as of today, signatures not showing in posts, font color needs to be black. Top of my list!

Nick,
You have eliminated the signature from our threads. In the past we use to encourage members to put as much information in their signature as possible. This would tell members a lot about the member responding to their questions.
This is a BIG step backwards.

Hello Cliff. I'll assume you were in a hurry when you posted the above and therefore (a) forgot to be nice; and (b) forgot to read the line immediately above where I pointed out that signatures have disappeared and that restoring them is my first priority ... when I next have some free time to volunteer to the Association.
Edit 12/5/17 21:30 EST: Fixed.
Thanks,
Nick Tonkin

Nick: Great work - the site looks really professional and I'm sure you will work through the issues quickly enough.
I would like to comment on the Signatures comment that Clifford made though. When searching for say - Oberdorfer - for people that want to upgrade their water pumps, You get EVERY post from the members that have put that upgrade in their signature. Makes the search more difficult and full of unwanted information. In my opinion, members should have limited information in their signature like Boat, Year, location, but not every upgrade they have made to their boats.
I have created searches to take those members out of my results but I'm sure not every member knows how to do that.
I know you are very busy with the Real Job you have and volunteering for our organization so I'll leave my comment at that.
Again - thanks for what you do!

Don, I appreciate your comment on our very successful new FaceBook group! The response and participation has been incredible!
Now a mere two months since our launch on Nov 1, 2017, we have 461 members!
And I agree, it's a great complement to our irreplaceable website forums Nick Tonkin has managed!
