I washed the curtains that came with our boat and the rubber on the reverse side melted. Does anyone know where I can get new curtains for a 1983 36 catalina? I can make new ones but am looking for a quicker fix.

I would try Catalina Direct wwww.catalinadirect.com. I know they have the hardware for the curtains.

Just visited a marina neighbor's Tartan 40 and they had come up with an ingenious idea that we're going to try. They went to Lowes and bought white solid horizon folding blinds that Lowes cut to size for free for about $12 each. They looked very classy and a lot easier than the curtains and tiny hand sewn plastic knobs I hand-sewed for our old Catalina 27! Our new to us 36 is going to have these classy blinds. Our windows are at more of an angle but a couple tabs of velcro should do it and we only want them down occasionally for privacy.
