Our harbor has seen an increase in fairly large catamarams this season.
The harbor requirement is for 20' pendants but on the cats, with their high freeboard and the span between the hulls, their pendants are spread out at a great angle. Some are almot on top of the mooring ball. This seems to put a lot of stress on the pendants beause of the width of the angle (the harbor requires two pendants).
Does anyone have any idea if there is a recommended length for cat pendants vs monohulls?
Thanks
