Membership & Changes

I'm posting this message to take a couple of minutes of your time to explain  a couple of things you may know or do not know.

  • When you login it might be a good idea if every now and then you click on "My Account" which is located just under the "375" of the header to this page. When it opens you will see all the information about your membership. If you are a standard member you will see a bright green bar. This will indicate the status of your membership, expired, pending, or current. It will also tell you when your membership will or has expired. This will just give you a heads up on when you may or may not wish to renew.Of course we send out email reminders over the last 32 days of your membership alerting you it is time to renew. I know because I receive all of them each time it is mailed to you. As of late there seems to be a fair amount that have gone out and as of to date have not renewed. I will try to follow up on those and many times I get a response that I did not know. That brings up my next comment for your consideration.
  • While your on this very same page you should be able to see an edit button right under your user name. Click on that edit link and review the information on that page. Why you may ask? Well another thing that seems to show up is we have the wrong email. Either it was entered wrong or you may have switched to another service. Now all those reminders we send out go into a "black hole" somewhere, and for the most part meaningless. So please be aware that what ever information that resides on this page is what we use. One is to contact you about your membership or any important news that we need to send to the membership. The other is your mail address, especially those that subscribe to the "Mainsheet" if your address is not current or incorrect, gues what? No magazine for you. Of course if you are a subscribing member for the "Mainsheet" than you would have access through the website for the electronic version.

I don't want to be too longwinded on this, but only wish to make those that are not aware, that you have the capability of editing your own information, and making sure it is correct. So if you feel you are not getting the magazine, when you know you should, please check your mailing address. If correct or you feel the need I only need to know and I can assist.
Happy sailing,

Enrique,
I believe we have discussed this within the last 30 days and your name/address/order appear to be OK, but we have not been able to figure why you are not receiving. I am going to contact you outside the forum via emai.

Tim,
There is one scheduled to come out soon. Your renew was 11/2/2016 and one has not come out since then.

My renewal was in May and that may coincide with my lack of Mainsheet delivery. Don't know if this helps.

Enrique, as I mentioned in the email, you seem to be a different circumstance and we are trying to figure out why.
