Mainsheet

is Catalina still distributing their magazine?  It feels like I haven't seen it in a while.  How about Jibsheet?

Enrique,
JibSheet was an electronic publication put out by C36/375IA, and done on a volunteer basis.  We ran out of volunteers a few years ago for that project.  Past issues are archived on this site. MainSheet, on the other hand, is put out by Catalina Yachts (well, technically by Jim Holder and ???? Publications).  That magazine is alive and well.  I just received the Winter edition (formerly called the November edition) a few weeks ago.  It is sent to all dues-paying members of this association, and the associations of other Catalina models.  If you haven't received one recently, you might want to check on your dues status.

As a follow-up comment, the latest issue indicates that the digital magazine is available for download.  As far as I can find, none of the 2016 issues have been added to Members/Mainsheet section.  Is there a plan to eventually make them available?

Ignore the above comment about the digital magazine.  Found them on www.mainsheet.net.

Yes - but they are password protected. As a member, how do I get the password?

If you've received the printed version look on page 3.

Enrique,
I checked into your membership and all is in order with it. You were listed in the mailing lists for the period you renewed. Not sure yet why you did not receive? You should be able to find the magazines in digital form under Members tab. Webmaster is working on uploading current to bring up to date. You do need a PW which is in the magazine in order to open. We can get you that in a seperate email or Private message.

Thanks Gary.

just want to make sure I understand.

Mainsheet is still being mailed but I didn't receive it but will in the future.  I can find issues on our site but need a password that will be emailed to me.  Right?

John,
In checking on your recent orders you have only renewed as a "Standard Member" and did not elect the optional subscription to "Mainsheet".You do have access to everything on the website with this membership except "Mainsheet". The publisher of the magazine has insisted that access is only through subscription, which is easy to understand, why he would take that position.
