G'day team!
After having the unfortunate experience of snapping a stainless steel bolt off in the lower thermostat water flange.
Don't ask me how I managed to get myself into this predicament. As well as a unsuccessful bolt extraction, so I have decided to replace the part.
In the M25 parts manual it is listed as Part 300233 in the water flange group.
My question is, which direction should I attempt to pursue to get it on and off. The back of the coolant pump obstructs the
the bolt access to the water flange. I have two approaches in mind, first is removing the inlets group and lifting the top of the crank case group to get the clearance to access the water flange. Alternatively removing the gear case group to move the back of coolant pump clear to access the water flange this way.
I would love any advice on which will be the path of lease residence. I have also created a shopping list of all
the gaskets I may need to undertake this project.

Thank you in advance for any advice.
Cheers
