Leather Wheel Covers

I'm planning to get a new padded leather wheel cover. The two venders that I've narrowed it down to are Edson Marine, and Boatleather.com. They are both in the same price range. Does anyone have any comparative info about the products of these two companies?

I took the opportunity for the leather covering upgrade to also include folding and size by switching to a Lewmar 42" leather covered folding wheel and sold the naked 40" Edison Destroyer that came with the boat. We are really enjoying all of the upgrades.

Tom,

I did this last year with the Edison wrap and couldn't be happier. Took probably an hour to complete....and is no doubt a great creature comfort!

Wow! Only an hour? I would have guessed much longer. Why have people referred to it as a winter project?
