L to U dinette

Has anyone added a seat to their L dinette, against the forward bulkhead? We usually store a cooler there with drinks and keep foodstuffs in the reefer. The full size table spends most of the time fastened to the bulkhead. We're toying with the idea of adding a built in cooler against the forward bulkhead and cutting the table down to still be able to utilize the salon for the occasional overnight guest. It would also free up the bulkhead to mount the TV. Just wanted to check here before I move ahead. Thanks for your help.

Stu,
Thanks for the link. That's pretty much in line with what I was considering, except it will be teak ply b/c the base of the portside long settee on my 36 is teak, not fiberglass.
