Hi Ive moved marinas and the hull growth is more noticeable here. I have to reverse out of my mooring to port, so normally the prop walk is a great help! But yesterday I could not straighten up after reversing out, and had to fend off boats further along the mooring. Sailed for the whole day, then tried to reverse in the marina in open water and same happened again. I am considering haul out and pressure wash etc but just thought I would ask for opinions before I go to that expense. Many thanks.
I am not able to completely follow your description. Since you mentioned moving to a new marina, there may be elements effecting your boat that you need to manage. Was there crosswind, were you moving too slowly?

About Sail La Vie
Sorry, no wind. I have moved marinas and have more weed /build up on hull, Is this a possible cause of the increase prop walk, as i cannot get theboat to reverse straight, it continually moves to port even under full adverse lock.
I get this when I get hard growth on my prop. A diver is just as good a solution and probably cheaper.

Thank you for your help.
