So I know this is not realy a new topic but certainly an important one for a new name.  My 93 mk1 desparately needs a new name.  No offence to her heritage, but she started as Ms. Gnomer and the current shadow is Auntie Beryle.  She is being re-born as Stella Blue and I am working to design her new name as we speak.  The shadow is about 25" x 9" and as you all have noted the previous protected the gelcoat.  Do I need to use an electric buffer or can I do it reasonably by hand using cleaner then wax?  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
