galley sink

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced replacement for the galley sink in an Mark 1? Catalina wants $425 plus shipping, Catalina Direct wants $550 plus shipping. Seems excessive.

Try polar ware, going from memory but I think that's the name. It is not a mirror finish but it fits with a bit if modifcation. Check at Kathmandu resturant supply, polar ware is the brand of sink

You could also try Catalina Yachts, reportedly $230 some years ago.

What is wrong with your old sink?

If you are dealing with dreaded pin holes from something that rusted in the bottom, you might consider epoxy over the hole on the backside, will last for years.

Many thanks for the tips. I found a polar ware sink on Amazon that appears to be the right size for around $110. Hoping the installation will go smoothly.

I've owned my boat for 9 years now and have always found this forum to be a great asset.
