Exhaust riser failure

During a recent cruise to the north end of Lake Huron my exhaust riser failed. The riser on my Mk I was a cast iron part with a part # for a generator company that is long gone (no help). My home marina in St. Clair, MI was able to get me a replacement riser made of cast aluminum for about $200 (instead of about $700 for  SS part from Catalina Direct. I chose to take the ferry and drive all the way down to the marina and while there I got the black pipe that also broke at the same time. The marina is River's Bend Marina, 700 Marine Dr,. St. Clair, MI 48079 and their email is reiversbend@sbcglobal.net and the phone is 810-329-2908. They are most cooperative and arrange for quick shipping. I have pictures of the old parts.
