I have two questions about my engine controls. The reverse / neutral / forward lever is quite stiff, and the throttle revs back and I have to continually add power, this is primarily when motoring at a pretty good speed, don't know whether there's any adjustments somewhere,
Another question, is that my rpm gauge reads 1500 at four or five knots, and 2000 at 6.5 /7 knots. Don't know whether this is a prop adjustment or the RPM gauge needs to be replaced
thanks!

I had that same hard to shift problem. I removed the compass and removed the friction bolt on the lever shaft and lubricated the shaft through the bolt hole. It is much easier to shift.
