Wind Ensemble crossing the finish line this past Saturday. I am recovering from 4 broken ribs, so did not get to participate. My brother skippered and they finished 4th in their class. Not too bad. Thanks to the Mobile Yacht Club for organizing a great event.

Wow! beautiful photo! Sail set looking perfect and what a bow wave! Is the motor on?
I'm in St. Marks, Fl, but sail over that way at least once a year.
Was that taken from an aircraft???

Hi Sam,
The picture was taken from the committee boat at the finish line. They used a supply boat that runs to the oil and gas rigs and it has a tall bridge in the forward section of the boat. They actually took 4 pictures, but this one was best. Wish I could have been with them!

Resurrecting this thread to let you know about the tragic turn of events at this year's Dauphin Island Race. We did not compete this year due to a prior commitment. Probably a good thing. Things went very bad in a big hurry.
