Looking at completing the Great Loop next year and am trying to find some sailing blogs of other C36's that have done the Chicago to Mobile trek. I have read Skipper Bob and have read other blogs, but they all seem to be trawlers or other MV's.
Can anyone forward a good blog site.
We have done the Great Lakes, Atlantic, Florida side and are looking for information on the logistics of the next leg of our trip. We have the wing keel and a 50' mast, so know we have some bridge restrictions south of Chicago, but very little other knowledge of the rest of the waterway, other than what I have read in other blogs and Skipper Bob... Don't really want to buy the waterways cruisers book, until we are closer to departure so I can get the most current information. We sail out of Georgian Bay so are not familiar with US waterways.
