Catalina 36 - 1/2 model

Does anybody know of someone I could talk with or any where that I could get (or borrow to have a mold made) a 1/2 model of a Catalina 36 (early model, if possible)?

The reason I ask is: I have a 1984 Catalina 36 and raced it from 2004 thru 2009, in the annual Bayview Mackinac Races (Lake Huron). We did very well with the boat getting three first in class, one first overall, one third overall and two seconds. I belong to Bayview Yacht Club, here in Detroit, and am the 2013 Race Chairman for the Bell's Beer Bayview Mackinac Race. Since I did get a first in class and a first overall in the same year I get to permanently put up a 1/2 model and plaque in our Clubhouse.

I have talked with Warren Pandy and Catalina. They do not have the 36 mold. Maybe another mold or model (34) could be revised to look like a 36. Warren did mention that if he got an existing model, he could take that and make a mold from it to produce another 36 1/2 model. He would then return the original model.

Any help, information or new references would be most helpful and appreciated.

THANKS...

Congratulations, Carl! and welcome to the forum. I sent you a link for half models, but perhaps others here will have plenty more suggestions.

Carl,
I replied to your request on the list server, and I'll reply here, too. This link is on our website, and I remember several owners raving about the quality of the models. Hope this helps.
